Our Registration Day offers an opportunity for eligible residents to learn more about the support available and sign up for programmes designed to help people build brighter futures.

What We Offer

Participants can access a range of opportunities and activities, including:

  • 8-week paid work placements to gain valuable experience and improve employability.
  • ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes for both beginner and intermediate learners.
  • Talking Circles that encourage connection and discussion
  • AI Workshops introducing participants to emerging technologies and digital skills.
  • Coffee Mornings that provide a welcoming space to meet others and build community networks.
  • Gentle Exercise Sessions that support wellbeing and healthy lifestyles.

These activities are designed to help individuals develop practical skills, increase confidence, and connect with new opportunities.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the work placement programme, applicants must:

  • Have the right to live and work in the UK.
  • Be aged 16 or over.
  • Be a resident of the City of Manchester.
  • Be between 16–64 years old.
  • Be unemployed and/or not have actively sought work in the previous four weeks.

What to Bring

Please bring the following documents:

  • Identification (ID)
  • Proof of address
  • National Insurance Number
