Brick Based Brains

Over the past four weeks, Simpson Memorial Hall in Moston has been home to Brick Based Brains, a LEGO-building and social session bringing men together through creativity, teamwork and fun.

Running for 4 weeks every Tuesday from 22nd September to 13th October, the sessions provided a relaxed and welcoming space for men to take part in LEGO-building challenges, meet new people and enjoy spending time together.

Brick Based Brain is about more than just building with LEGO. It offers an opportunity for men to socialise, build confidence and connect with others in a friendly, informal setting. Whether taking on a building challenge or enjoying a chat over refreshments, participants can get involved at their own pace.

Free refreshments were also provided, helping to create a comfortable environment where everyone could relax, chat and enjoy the sessions.

Following the initial four weeks, there are plans to explore running a further six weeks of sessions. This would give participants more opportunities to try new building challenges, develop friendships and continue connecting with others in their community.

At NMCP, we believe that bringing people together through shared interests and activities can make a real difference. Brick Based Brain is a great example of how a simple activity can create opportunities for social connection, confidence-building and community involvement.
