I thought today would be quiet one.
A group of young people turned up, ready to get stuck in. Organised by Cancer Diaspora, they grabbed gloves and bags and got to work. Litter picking with purpose, pride, and teamwork.
It wasn’t just about cleaning up the streets. It was about showing care—for the community, for the environment, and for each other.
Back inside, conversations, activities & support. People coming through the doors for all kinds of reasons, and every single one added to the energy of the day.
See for Yourself
We’ve got it on film. A short clip that shows what local action really looks like.
Thank You
To the young people who showed up and made a difference.
To Cancer Diaspora for making it happen.
And to everyone who walked through the doors of Simpson Memorial Hall today.
