Africa Day In Pictures: A Day of Joy, Colour and Community

On Saturday 21st June, The Simpson Memorial Hall was bursting with life as we came together for Africa Day 2025. And now that the photos and videos are in — we can relive the magic all over again!

From start to finish, the hall was filled with smiles, dancing, laughter, and connection. Here are just a few of our favourite highlights:

The energy on stage – performers wowed the crowd with music and dance. The passion and rhythm had the whole hall moving.

Food that brought people together – plates full of delicious African dishes reminded us how powerful food is in building community.

The fashion show – bold, colourful, and beautiful! Models of all ages walked with confidence, showing off the richness of African style.

Fun for all ages – children, families and friends took part in activities that made the day extra special.

The vibe – our DJ and rapper kept the beats flowing, ensuring the celebration never stopped!

A Massive shout out to North Manchester Youth Collective who helped to take photos and videos of the day ❤️
