Are you interested in supporting local people to learn essential life skills? Do you want to add experience to your CV? Do you have time to help?
We’re looking to recruit digital support volunteers/peer mentors to help local people manage their online lives, including applying for benefits, performing job searches, managing utilities, communicating, and levelling-up online. You don’t need to be an IT expert to give your time, you just need to be familiar with using the Internet and want to help others. Digital support volunteers will support service users at various community venues throughout the North Manchester area.
In exchange, you can access excellent training opportunities and gain valuable experience for employment. In fact, 85% of our previous volunteers have gone on to gain paid work. You can also meet new people and build confidence in new skills. Travel expenses will be provided for all of our volunteers.
